Lunches

Lunch time is an important part of the day. It is an opportuity for the children to develop their social skills, refuel and play! Lunches are served in the hall and children are allowed to sit with their friends. We have a rota for sittings to avoid over crowding. Your child can have either a hot meal each day or bring a healthy packed lunch.

The academy has a new caterer from June 2017 and you will notice some exciting changes. These include an improved lunchtime environment with tablecloths, cutlery, water jugs and homemade bread on the table and a redesigned servery with a larger, more easily accessible salad bar.

The website for our new catering company can be accessed here:-

The current price of a meal is £2.25. If you are eligible for free school meals you can apply using the link below:-

Our latest menus can be found at the bottom of the page.

If your child brings a packed lunch it should be brought in each day in a clearly named lunch bag or box and should contain cold food. Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons we cannot allow hot meals from home. Packed lunches should contain healthy foods - sweets, fizzy drinks and chocolate bars are not considered to be healthy options and must not be brought in. For suggestions and ideas on healthy packed lunches, the websites below have some good ideas.
